Denita Johnson

DeNita Johnson, is a wife, mother, high school counselor and a proud Board Member and Secretary of the C.H.A.M.P.S Board of Directors. She considers it an honor to be a part of an organization that instills and demonstrates the importance of education, leadership, mentorship and life skills to the youth and the families in the community. Having served on the Board for two years, DeNita feels blessed to work alongside leaders who impart, encouragement, and guidance for the development of young people.
Cassaundra Gardner

Cassaundra Gardner has been a Financial and Credit Risk professional for 30 years. She has held various roles such as Loan Processor (Aqua Tech), Loan Officer (Anytime Access), Sr. Financial Analyst (PG&E), Risk Management Supervisor (PG&E), Team Lead of Risk Management (PG&E), Credit Operations Manager and currently Income Qualified Programs for Disadvantage Communities Manager for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), headquartered in San Francisco, California.
Cassaundra is responsible for the Management of Low-Income programs for Disadvantage Communities.
Cassaundra holds a Batchelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University of Sacramento and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
William Hancock

My name is William Hancock, I have been a board member with CHAMPS for Life for approximately 2 years. I retired from law enforcement after almost 22 years. Currently, I am an educator at a local charter school. I am also pursuing a teaching credential to further my career and to continue giving back to my community. I have a beautiful teenage daughter, who is the love of my life.
Ryan Burge
Board Member
Ryan Burge is the newest Board Member with Champs For Life. He was born and raised in Sacramento and has spent 15 years in logistics and has a commercial driver’s license. Mr. Burge has been married for 14 years, and has 4 children. He also enjoys working with the youth in his community.
