Mr. Danny T. Williams
Founder / Owner

Danny Williams is a native son of Sacramento, CA.  As an educator, he has served TK-12 students in public, charter, adult education, court & community schools, and junior college students since 1986 (his career began as a librarian’s assistant and supported an elementary literacy program). Danny has an earned Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature & Composition), Teaching and Administrative Credential, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Danny’s community service resume includes educational roles as as a Teacher, Before & After School Age Program Director, Middle School & High School Principal roles in Sacramento, Stockton, and Fresno.

 

Danny’s journey began as a mentor for Education Talent Search at CSU, Bakersfield. After a life-changing experience serving students in Kern County by supporting their goals to obtain college track preparation, he returned to his high school alma mater as a teacher and football coach at Valley High School. He was inspired by two mentors, Larry Sherman (Danny’s High School English Teacher), and Frank Santangelo (Danny’s High School Head Football Coach). Mr. Sherman was instrumental in providing vital coaching that led to his introduction to the role as an A.V.I.D Teacher. As the Athletic Director, Coach Santangelo hired Danny as a first-time, head coach for the freshman football team.

 

Danny has also served students in correctional facilities, and supported them by guiding their community re-entry, educational, and pathway plans. As a life-long learner, he served hundreds of students and teachers as instructional coach at Title I schools across Northern and Southern California. Danny’s commitment to equity and diversity led to a  strategic, instructional environment that afforded him the platform to provide data-driven, research-based, rigorous instructional coaching and professional development for teacher and student success. As an instructional coach, he reviewed data with principals,

leadership teams, and teachers. He also provided rigorous demonstration lessons and classroom observations in order for teachers to reflect on their practice, use data to

drive their instruction, and to implement best practices to improve student achievement. Providing instructional support to schools in Oakland, Fresno, Sacramento, and Stockton to improve the achievement gap among various subgroups,

including students of color and low socio-economic status. The work in Sacramento and Oakland culminated into after-school programs where teachers were trained during the school day and their students received free academic

support.

 

Danny has worked with organizations that provided Historical Black & College University Fairs to African and Latino American students. He developed a Multi Tier Multi Domain System of Supports for Tier 1-3 students in order to address and increase student achievement, socio-emotional learning, and college and career readiness. He has served on school leadership teams that achieved WASC accreditations and charter renewals.

 

Danny is the proud father of six beautifully and wonderfully made children and has an equally amazing wife, Audrea. He has three children in college and a blessed family.
