CHAMPS 4 Life (C4L) is currently a certified Supplemental Services After School Provider for The Sacramento City Unified School District. Under the executive team leadership of CEO Danny Williams and COO Audrea William they collaborated with Sierra Health Foundation, The Center Cohort 4, a 3-year partner in the CA state-wide initiative, to combat youth fentanyl abuse, especially in marginalized and BIPOC communities. Some other key partners include, Sacramento County Department of Child, Family, and Adult Services, where they provided critical behavioral health support to prevent post-Covid youth suicide spikes, Sacramento Job Corps, where they provided paid workforce development to TAY (transition age youth), and The City of Sacramento and District 8: Council member Mai Vang's Office, where we provide free community pop-up events for community engagement and revitalization and youth civic engagement.  As a current state-wide 2026 CalVIP Partner, C4L is a collaborative partner with The Sacramento Police Department and The Office of Violence Prevention to enhance public health and safety through support for community gun violence reduction efforts. Our focus is on empowering youth leaders to be the catalyst of social justice, workforce development, civic engagement, and life-long learners in their community.C4L received City of Sacramento Mayor’s Award in 2025 for being a distinguished, youth serving CBO. In 2026, C4L CEO Danny Williams received City of Sacramento District 8 Community Leader of The Year for an outstanding commitment to youth in Sacramento. CHAMPS also provides cultural navigator, youth mentoring, family engagement, youth leadership, community outreach, and civic leadership and engagement.
